In TikTok video #43 I go through how to get your own free ring tones based on music in your library. This is a iPhone hack that most people don’t know exists.
In video #44 you will learn how to customize ring tones to each contact. This is pretty cool because as soon as you get a phone call you know who it is just by the sound of the ring tone.
In video #45 you will discover how to customize your ring tones. Instead of just songs you can use your voice or any sound you want as a ring tone. We use the Garage Band app in order to make these ring tones.
Apps That Request Your Location – iPhone Trick #2
Here’s another iPhone trick I bet you didn’t know, featured on TechTalk. Your apps can access your location at will if you allow them too. You have the ability to turn this feature off, give them access when you’re using the app, or access whenever they want.
Most people say, why would I ever give an app access to my location at any time? I only have one and that is the Weather app. I want to get weather notifications when they happen not just when I’m on the app. This is especially useful when you’re traveling.
iPhone Apps That Have Access to your Microphone – iPhone Trick #3
This is an iPhone hidden feature that most apps don’t want you to know. I was shocked to learn that apps on my iPhone have the ability to access my microphone whenever they want. Talk about not having privacy on your iPhone.

I really like this iPhone app because it can turn your photos into artwork. This is great for photos that you want to hang on the wall or have printed on anything you want. These are great to give as gifts and they will be unique.

I’m not an artist but when you look at the examples that this app creates it’s pretty cool. Once again this can be a great gift idea. I think a family photo turned into an oil painting and made larger would be awesome.

There are a lot of programs out there that allow you to add text to a photo and much more. The reason I like this iPhone app is because they make it simple to add text to photos. It’s a simple add that gets the job done easily and it’s very beginner friendly.

Each week we offer Live Q & A on TechTalk so if you have a specific question we can answer it there. You will also find that other people ask questions and the answers help you out as well.

What Should I Do if My iPhone is Having an Issue?
The first thing you should do when you’re having an issue with your iPhone is close out all of the open windows. If that doesn’t fix your issue the next step is to power your phone off for at least 2 minutes. This acts as a quick reset but you don’t lose any of your data.

How Can I Find Out if Someone Hacked My iPhone?
It’s pretty rare that someone you know has hacked your phone. This usually comes up when someone knows what you have been doing or where you have been. The other red flag is that they know about your texts or messages.
The most common thing that is happening is you share an account with that person or you used to. If you share an account with an ex I recommend you cancel it and get a new one if you’re having issues.
Also, make sure and change your passwords on a regular basis to something that no one will be able to easily guess.
The last thing that seems to happen a lot is when your kids phones are tracked by a parent whose now an ex. This is a tough one to overcome but it’s quite common.
